How long does it normally take to receive the UI check after filing? We have not received the check yet for the first week we were laid off.

You don't get a check the first week. Ky passed a law several years ago that you don't receive benefits until the second week you are off. Therefore you get sub for the full amount the first week and those checks are already posted in line.

For UI checks, if i remember correctly, you normally can claim them on sunday and receive them by wednesday. but like rocky said, no UI pay for the first week that you claim annually.

Mine mailed on the 7th, yet to receive it. Sounds like alot of people having same problem. The UI system would not let me do direct deposit.

My unemployment was only $415. Wonder when Ford's gonna pay senior employees the subpay difference? Or do they even pay sub pay with unemployment anymore?
