Buying a Ford is like buying drugs from a shady drug dealer. You never know what you might get.

Fantastic job at supporting the company you work for! I know everything they do is not adored, but gee whiz! Guess you don't give a darn about profit sharing.

Well when I bring up quality concerns that I find wrong with car nothing gets done. I see the same things wrong week by week year by year. That tells me Ford does not care,so why should I. As long as the customer buys the car they don't care. That's like you buying a new phone then down the road find out they didn't build it right.

Fantastic job at supporting the company you work for! I know everything they do is not adored, but gee whiz! Guess you don't give a darn about profit sharing. I've had good luck with my Fords until recently. Last few I've purchased did not please me. That said, back in the late 90's when Ford went cheap and many people who purchased 3.8 powered fords had head gasket failure just outside of warranty, they chose to not buy Ford again. No one on the line had control over that. Being a Ford employee didn't help with the financial pain of the expensive repair on a car most people where still making payments on. Head gaskets on the optional diesel motor in Super Duty trucks just a few years ago...... Transmission issues ( that have spawned class action law suites against FoMoCo). You can talk profit share all you want, but what you and I contribute towards improving that pitiful excuse as an exchange for past pay raises we gave up, compared to the companies ability to piss money away, or remove our ability to assemble a quality product, is like filling a swimming pool with a thimble. We all desire to take pride in what we build, and when we can't, we owe it to ourselves, our families, and the future of our employer to be very vocal about it.

So demeaning and downgrading FMC products on a public website is a tool to attract past, present, and future Ford buyers? Don't know how long both of you have worked for Ford but over the last 30 years I have seen the overall Quality improve dramatically. Technology has been a huge key,but concern over sloppy work practices has helped more than anything. Profit sharing has never been a substitute for raises. The IUAW is more responsible for the lack of raises than anyone else as they have brought forth the contracts that boasted sign on bonuses as replacements for raises. Then most of the membership saw up front money first before retirement money. IMO.

Your name says your a "new member" so I will take that as a you being newer hire and offer a bit of advice to you. Getting on a public forum trashing the product that supports your family isn't the brightest idea, especially if your a newer hire. Makes me no difference, would have to close the plant down and even then I would be one of the few left sweeping up, but you and others more importantly wouldn't be as lucky. Keep that stuff to yourself or if there are real issues that really concern you theres numerous avenues to address through the plant. There are 1-800 numbers where you can report quality issues anonymously or if you leave your name someone will be waiting to discuss the issue with you usually within 24 hours, it's taken very very seriously. Good luck, stay safe

Maybe I'm being to harsh, it just frustrates me when I see things not assembled correctly when I'm doing my job correctly 100% every time. I just get tired of fixing the issues myself or telling the quality leader to fix it.
Sorry I'm done ranting.
