2017 KY Labor-Management Conference Board of Directors’ Scholarship – The Kentucky Labor-Management Conference Board of Directors is pleased to announce the award of up to $4000 in scholarship funds available to graduate, undergraduate and/or technical program students for the Fall 2017 school term. Eligible applicants are encouraged to apply quickly as the applications must be postmarked no later than July 15, 2017. 2017 RIDERS FOR HEROES FIRST RESPONDERS RUN – This event will be held on April 9th, 2017. It will start and end at Bluegrass Harley Davidson. Registration is 10:00am – 11:00am; kickstands up at 11:00am sharp. $10.00 for singles and $15.00 for couples. There will be a live band and food and drink will be sold. This ride will benefit the JCSO Motor Unit and the unwavering support that the unit does for many charities throughout Kentucky and Indiana. Please come and enjoy the day with our UAW Local 862 Riders For Heroes. The RFH Standing Committee is now over 200 members strong!

18th Annual JDRF Golf Scramble - Hosted by UAW-Ford KTP employees. This event will be held at Covered Bridge Golf Club in Sellersburg, IN. Sunday, June 11th, 2017 (2 Flights). Sign-ups begin April 10, 2017. Registration: 6:15am to 7:15am. Shotgun Start: 7:30am and 1:30pm, rain or shine! The cost is $200 per person due upon registration. First come-first serve basis to the first 288 paid entries. Lunch is 12:00pm for both flights. All proceeds benefit Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Registration forms can be picked up in Salary Personnel, the KTP Cares Store, or from either UAW 862 union hall. Garden Plots available – Rent a garden plot today by calling the Jefferson County Extension Office at 502-569-2344. $20/year, 30’x30’, free water, and free use of tillers. Located at the Blue Lick Community Garden, 10000 Mud Lane, Louisville, KY 40229.



UAW LOCAL 862 BLACK BASS TOURNAMENT – The tournament will be Sunday April 9th, 2017 on Green River Lake, Holmes Bend. It will be 7:30am to 3:30pm, Louisville time. Check-in time before 7:15am. Entry fee is $60.00 per boat. Entry deadline is April 3rd, no exceptions. All entry fees (less expenses) will be returned as prize money. Only money orders, payable to UAW Local 862, will be accepted. Starting positions will be determined in the order the entries are received. Registration forms can be picked up at either Local 862 Union Hall

**UAW-Ford Hourly Optional Life and Accident Programs Open Enrollment period for 2017 will be from now thru April 28, 2017.



12-STEP PROGRAM MEETINGS - Beginning April 11, 2017 12-Step Meetings will be held at the KTP Union Hall on Tuesdays from 4:30-6:00pm. Any member that is having issues and wants to get help with drugs or alcohol is welcome to attend.
