There is a new post published on the UAWLAP.org Site. Details of the post follow. KTP Retiree Jimmy A. "Brother" Mahan passed away 1933 - 2017 Jimmy A. "Brother" Mahan, 83, of Shepherdsville, returned to his Heavenly Father on Monday, April 10, 2017. Mr. Mahan was involved greatly in the community in such activities as, coaching little league at Marydale for 25 years, Moose Lodge #5, VFW, American Legion Shepherdsville Chapter, was a Mason for 52 years at the Fern Creek Lodge, and Eastern Star for 20 years. Mr. Mahan retired from Ford in 2001, where he was a Union Representative for 25 years. Among those that preceded him in death include his parents, Albert & Zoie Mahan; son, Shane Mahan; and aunt, Zelphia Richardson. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Shirley Mahan; children, JoAnn Delph, Donnie Schmidt; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood, & Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial in Bethany Cemetery.
