STS have no seniority. Moving hundreds of people around for senior people to get time off will not happen either unless they do voluntary TLO's. Seniority in natural work groups is contractual but in the by laws so is I think the word is "churning" language. That's why if your job on a team is removed and you want to stay on the team you can bump the lowest person on your team off their job and not just anyone with less seniority. It stops the domino effect from happening, not only for so much training but also the quality of the vehicle.

STS receive "credit" for any week they work 3 or more days in. If you and I started as STS the same day and the company moved us to In Progression 8 weeks later for example , if I had not worked at least 3 days every week and you had, guess who would have hiring preference ? You.The folks in SUV Body and Paint who are not In Progression will not get credit for weeks worked. That is the way I read it. Correct me if I'm wrong. I'm not advocating a bunch of "churning", just trying to figure out if someone is going to be working or not. Not too much to ask.

My point is jobs in new body and paint are so easy if anybody wanted to work and let the senior person be laid off ,both parties would be happy..Prolly won't happen tho

I understand, I'm trying to help. It's crazy they haven't made a official announcement yet. We are only two weeks from June and that's unofficially when they are suppose to start ripping out parts of Utrim. I'm just curious to see how all of this will effect Super Duty, downtime or back to 12 hours a day?
