ORDER BANK:
2017 ESCAPE: 25,594 UNITS 20 Day Supply
2017 MKC: 3,650 UNITS 17 Day Supply
2017 SUMMER VACATION SHUTDOWN: The shutdown period is now confirmed for the week
of July 3rd, 2017.
B-CREW MANDATORY OVERTIME 5/20: Cancelled!!!
INFLATION PROTECTION BONUS: UAW negotiated bonus of $1500 is scheduled to be
paid out on pay ending 6/11. All active employees who have obtained SENORITY by
5/15/17 are eligible. TPTs are excluded.
EMPLOYEE APPRECIATION JACKETS UAW/FORD: Your Leadership has negotiated a
UAW/Ford Appreciation jacket for all hourly employees. Distribution will be in
the union office on Monday 5/15 thru Friday 5/19 from 9 am – 9 pm. currently
only 2X and larger are available. More sizes will arrive in the upcoming weeks.
UAW LOCAL 862 ELECTIONS 5/18-5/19: The Election for the Executive Board,
Building Chairpersons and Bargaining Committee will be held May 18-19, 2017,
polls open at 4:30 am on May 18th and polls close on May 19, 2017 at 7:30 pm at
the UAW Local 862 Union Hall, 3000 Fern Valley Road. The Election of
Committeepersons and Stewards (where necessary), and a “run-off election”
(if necessary) for Executive Board and/or Building Chairpersons, will be held on
May 25-26, 2017. Polls open at 4:30 am May 25th and polls close on May 26, 2017
at 7:30 pm at the UAW Local 862 Union Hall, 3000 Fern Valley Road. All active
and retired members are urged to participate. Retired members are eligible to
vote for Executive Board Members.
WALK FOR WISHES 5/20: UAW/Ford sponsored walk. The ‘Walk’ will be held at
Kentucky Kingdom on May 20th, 2017 and starts at 10 am. This is a fundraiser but
you can also buy tickets at the Charity Corner for $25. Tickets are only good
for the day of the walk. To register for the walk or to donate log on to
www.oki.wish.org.

the Louisville MS Walk benefiting Multiple Sclerosis. If you would like to
participate in the walk, please stop by the Employee Store in the Main Cafeteria
after Wednesday May 17th to pick up your Walk T-shirt for $15. All proceeds will
benefit MS. The walk will be held at the Louisville Water Tower Park at 3005
River Road, Louisville, Ky. Please meet at the UAW/Ford table for a group photo
at 9:30 am. Walk starts at 10 am.
2017 KY LABOR-MANAGEMENT CONFERENCE BOARD OF DIRECTORS’ SCHOLARSHIP: The
Kentucky Labor-Management Conference Board of Directors is pleased to announce
the award of up to $4000 in scholarship funds available to graduate,
undergraduate and/or technical program students for the Fall 2017 school term.
Eligible applicants are encouraged to apply quickly as the applications must be
postmarked no later than July 15, 2017. For more information, or to apply, go to
