I work in SD paint and return on july 18. I received 56 hours of vacation...do i call on july 16 to file for unemployment for the 24 hours? I went to mtg and received paper work but still a little confused!

Go online and try to file. If it works file, if it doesn't don't.

You can't apply until July 16th. Go to your pay stub that they paid u for your 56 hrs. See the hourly rate they paid u and multiply that by 16. U will have to report that income. It will be deducted from your total unemployment benefit. Remember to request benefit check, not file a claim.

Met a kid while on vacation that said he worked in "new"paint which I assumed he meant super duty paint.He stated they were off till 8/28??
