Yet another accident out front this morning, ambulance was there, hope everyone was ok. At what point will the company do something to help? Does someone have to die first? When will the union step up and have the issue addressed? It's always "we are working on it". How about using some off duty officers for traffic flow during shift changes until it is fixed? Maybe have a few union officials directing traffic during shift changes? All we are trying to do is get to & from work guys, help us out some! Stay safe people.

How about putting a bulletin out that says "use some fucking common sense getting here and back"!!! Every day I'm amazed at what I see getting to and from work.

That also, but if these fucks can make a tool to put a nut on upside down around a corner in the dark, surely someone can figure out a way to empty a parking lot at quitting time without it looking like Woodstock. |

Common sense driving: set your alarm 15 minutes earlier so you not trying to run over everybody else. Quit trying to set a speed record in the left lane to cut over 2 lanes to exit, don't try to pass left or right going down the ramp, don't try to beat the train, use the things on the side of the steering wheel, go in the direction of the arrow in the parking lot(I do and I got a big truck and I'm not backing up). I saw a guy the other day in the left lane, not the turn lane to the plant (Lagrange road exit) run the red light turning left in front of the turning lane and he beat the train coming!!! ITS NOT WORTH YOUR LIFE people. It's unreal out there at start and quitting time

This the same company and union that took the light away at paint entrance ,only to have us turn in half blindly, while people are coming around a curve speeding? Why they move it, cause people would block entrance and they couldn't get in at all. We call it dead mans curve! It's only a matter of time. Although I thought it sucked , the police use to come out once a month to write tickets. Haven't seen any in a long while. They could get their quota in a couple days with these youngsters.

Ford should tell the state of Ky they have 12 months to begin construction on entrance/exits ramps from the Snyder directly onto Chamberlain Lane or they are pulling out of Ky & moving the production. Problem would be solved....UPS did this 20 years ago when they needed a whole damn neighborhood to expand or they were leaving Ky, & guess what, they made those people move and bulldozed their houses. One call from the head assholes up there and this problem would go away but they could care less about any of us. Stay safe people! |

Another accident this afternoon. It's a win, maybe a win-win for Ford. The more cars/trucks you guys wreck, the more they can replace. Here's a news flash for all you aspiring Formula One drivers out there; when you're running late or in a hurry to get somewhere and you end up in a wreck, guess what? Yeah...I had a young new hire in fast lane Chamberlain swing over right in front of me to turn in parking lot gate 5..had to slam on brakes or would've hit him! Dumb ass!

I was in an accident years ago in the parking lot at gate 4. A woman came around the corner going the wrong way and hit me. It was clearly her fault and I Pocketed $1800 on an old Escort that I got for $2000. Every dog has his day.  |

I agree that staggered start/end times would be a big help in reducing the congestion. However, the company cannot fix stupid. If stupid people continue to do stupid things while they are driving then there is no amount of help that will make everything go away. It is more of a behavioral issue than it is a company issue

20 years ago there was a light at gate 6 that slowed down the traffic flow from that direction considerably. That's why they removed it if I remember correctly. People got sick of waiting there and complained that it was making them late for work. You know, people who wait until the last minute to leave for work then say it's something else's fault that they're late. It needs to be put back up before one of these stupid kids causes a fatal accident.
