...again with the new launch.
How, from a union's point of view, do you justify keeping STS's or LTS's or new hires or whatever, on bid jobs on days, while you roll 20 year people to nights?
Just how does that happen?
I understand placing new full timers on bid jobs that aren't filled because not enough people bid on them, which is what happened with c-crew/
But how are non-permanent full timers on bid jobs AT ALL, much less keeping them on days and rolling 20 year people to nights?
Where is the language for that? It has nothing, NOTHING to do with meeting a manpower need.
I don't get it.

They're probably scared they won't like their new job and quit.

New administration, same ole nonsense. These guys are just out of touch with all of us, they havent seen a days work in 15-20 years. People vote one guy out, which in laymen terms means people don't want him representing them....and then the new guy in charge gives him a job in his administration representing us!!! He was voted out because people didn't want him representing them! Have more respect for the gentleman that declined the offer, may have been the guy to give a shot. The whole bunch of them are out of touch, just a shame.

The guy that was voted out, just accepted a job in international. I guess that's what you call moving on up. Looks like building chair leads to an appointment with international.
