has anyone heard anything about us still not receiving our first week subway check from ford for down week? It's been almost 6 weeks?

has anyone heard anything about us still not receiving our first week subway check from ford for down week? It's been almost 6 weeks? Man I think we'd all like to know! Union pulling us around telling us soon. Soon isn't 6 weeks...wonder when we will have a strike or grevienance! |

In the past it always took me at least 6 weeks to get a SUB check.

I was off the month of February, took 4 weeks to get first week (unemployment denied, 100 %) sub pay. Week 2 & 3 were received before the first week

LOL...been here lotta years..never took 6 weeks get a sub check! Lucky you. My sub checks always took about a month and a half to get. Sometimes I'd get really lucky and get one in 5 weeks, but I didn't start to get concerned unless it took longer than 6. Then I'd call the hall and ask for a benefits rep or whoever was the go to guy for SUB at the time. So how many of you have called the hall or a bargainer instead of just talking to the poor grunt committeeman on the floor who has no control over any of it or just whining on the internet? I'd wager very few. Oh, and I've been here 24 years. |

This right here is exactly what I would have done. Good job sir. Funny how folks are complaining about the union when it's the union who got us the benefit and its actually the company dragging their feet paying it. Same people who probably think we'd be better off without a union, then be shocked years later when there's no SUB at all. Can I get an amen? |

Committee man came around last night. I talked to him to see if hes heard anything and he said all night hes gotten asked about the SUB pay. He said that frankfort is going over to see who did it right and that it would be "VERY soon" so lets hope!
