Brothers and Sisters,
It is with a heavy heart that I ask our membership to remember the life of our Brother Ivan Bridgewater. We lost a member of our union family in a workplace accident. I ask that each and every Local 862 union member and Kentucky Truck Plant / Louisville Assembly Plant employee to remember the life of our fallen brother and pray for his family. As we all have family that work inside of the two plants, it could easily have been one of our own family members. The Bridgewater family will need support during these very difficult times. Please be there also for those brothers and sisters that were close to Brother Bridgewater. We must remind ourselves to watch out for one another as we are the last line of defense in making sure that we walk out of the turnstiles each and every day. Please take a moment of silence to ask for peace and comfort in the hearts of his family and his friends. Kentucky Truck Plant Chairman Allen Hughes and Louisville Assembly Plant Chairman Herb Hibbs and the entire Local 862 Executive Board ask the membership to honor Brother Bridgewater and that we all work safe and remember all of our fallen brothers and sisters.
Peace Be With you
Brother Bridgewater
