How or why does the union allow the Co to tag (whenever they want)I thought tagging was discontinued?They keep a handful of guys around just in case we break down or get behind.Us workers never know when break is from day to day?This is exactly what the company wanted.They will never bring those bid jobs back.Doesnt make sense to me .Now they’re allowed to tag after a break down?Last week it was 8:59 I’m getting ready for break tag guy walks up and says we are tagging?A couple people already walked off.They never even told my TL.This is BS.Either tag or cut it all the way out..Who agreed to this shit?

They can now but up the line time up until 4:24 now and all they need is 12min of downtime over the course of the day, as per the new contract. Bet you didn’t see that in the highlights??

Bet you didn't read the last contract. Or the one 4 years before that. Or the one 4 years before that. Because they've always been able to up the line time if a breakdown exceeds TEN minutes. And in case you were wondering, the contractual cap on maximum time can be waived completely if a single breakdown exceeds 4 hours. So your notion that the company could only increase line time since the current contract and that the union just slipped that in under our noses a few years ago confirms that you don't know shit, sorry. No one expects anyone to memorize the contract but at least understand basic everyday stuff, like the contractual mechanisms for changing line times, break times, etc. That's basic everyday type stuff that shouldn't be hard to remember. But spreading misinformation, stating falsehoods like we got fucked underhandedly with a sudden sneaky rule change, when that language has been in there a very long time, that's just fucked up, sorry. The truth is what people should be telling, which I strive to do, however harshly. It's the only way to combat Darth Bullshit and his legion of bullshit slinging Shith Lords.
