Labor Relations sent the pdf bulletin by email last Thursday and told the process coaches and team leaders make copies and pass them out. If they haven't gotten the word to you they are falling down on their job.
There will be a two-week vacation shutdown this year for SUV BODY, SUV PAINT and SUV TRIM employees starting on Monday, July 2nd and concluding on Sunday, July 15th.
There will be a one-week vacation shutdown this year for all remaining production and support areas starting Monday July 2nd and concluding Sunday, July 8th.

Subject: 2018 Vacation Shutdown Notice
Be advised that there will be a two-week vacation shutdown this year for SUV Body, SUV Paint, and SUV Trim employees starting on Monday, July 2nd and concluding on Sunday, July 15th.
There will be a one-week vacation shutdown this year for remaining production and support areas.
Week of July 2nd*
No Production
The following employees will be scheduled to work during the shutdown period:
All Skilled Trades employees
Launch DROT 86002A
Launch DROTs 8600 – 8619, some employees could be traveling to Dearborn, others supporting launch
4-TPPS for tool verifications with Electricians, 2-TISS due to door line reallocations, 1-Team Leader for update books/route info and tool updates
All Team Leaders in the following DROTs
4400, 4401, 4405, 4411, 4530, 4226, 4227
Super Duty Paint 10 Behr Operators, 1 Material Controller and 4 Paint Mixers*
SUV Paint 1 Paint Mixer
All MP&L General Stores, Gate 10 Clerks, MRCs, MP&L Launch and 30 Material Controllers
Week of July 9th
No Production in SUV Body, SUV Paint, SUV Trim, and MP&L that supports SUV Body, Paint, Trim.
All other production and support departments will be working, including Pre-Trim, Box Line, and DROTs 4120-4124.
The following employees will be scheduled to work during the shutdown period:
All Skilled Trades employees
2-SUV Body Fitters per crew
All Team Leaders in DROTs: 4100-4110
4-TPPS for tool verifications with Electricians, 2-TISS due to door line reallocations, 1-Team Leader for update books/route info and tool updates
SUV Paint: 6 Behr Operators (2nd Wk), 1 Paint Repair, 1 Paint Mixer, 1 Material Control (voluntary)
*Employees will be notified of who is scheduled by departmental supervision. Those scheduled will be given the opportunity to take vacation at their request as openings exist on their departmental vacation calendars.
Vacation hour allotments for shutdown:
Unless otherwise noted, SUV Body, SUV Paint, SUV Trim, and MP&L that supports SUV Body, Paint, Trim employees will have to retain 80-hours of vacation for vacation shutdown. All other production and support departments will be working, including Pre-Trim, Box Line, and DROTs 4120-4124 will have to retain 40-hours of vacation for vacation shutdown

Thankfully we have the grammar police on patrol to explain shit that doesn't really matter, while I explain the contract, and pretty much everything else in our work-life that matters, to you clueless malcontents.
