WORKER’S MEMORIAL DAY CARING IN THE WORKPLACE–The UAW KTP and LAP Local 862

At the Flagpole in front of the Administration Buildings. Please join us at any
time through those hours in prayer and remembrance of our union Brothers and
Sisters who have died in the workplace. We will also be in prayer for the future
of our plants, leadership, and the emotional and spiritual welfare of our
Brothers and Sisters. Everyone is welcome to attend, hourly and salary.
riders for heroes ride and rally – This event will be held Saturday August
25th, 2018 at Expo Five located at 2900 7th Street Rd., Louisville, KY 40213.
There will be live music, food and drinks. The ride starts at Bluegrass Harley
Davidson, 8:00am registration, kickstands up at 9:00am. The rally at Expo Five
starts at 2:00pm and bands start at 3:00pm. The bike/car show registration is
12:00-2:00pm. $10/person for entry, $20/pre-registered person (includes a rally
shirt). You can pre-register at the LAP Union Hall, 3000 Fern Valley Road,
Louisville, KY 40213. $10/per bike or car entered into show. All proceeds go to
local first responders and veteran organizations. For additional information,

WORKERS’ COMPensation QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS – Take advantage of this very
popular and free service. We have a workers’ compensation attorney offering
consultations to all members at each union hall location each week. The schedule
is as follows: Mondays from 4:00pm-6:00pm at the KTP Union Hall (side glass
entrance) and Thursdays from 4:00pm-6:00pm at the LAP Union Hall, excluding
holidays. This is a question and answering service regarding work related
injuries provided by Jennings Law Offices. You will be able to meet with a
workers’ compensation attorney with no appointment necessary. Please educate
yourself and utilize these convenient services available within your local
union.

Spring discount tickets are available for UAW 862 members for the month of April

available are April 29, May 5, 6, 12, 13, 19, 20, 26, and 27. Admission is
