Chad Anthony Crace, 47 of Charlestown passed away on Friday November 9, 2018 at Kentuckiana Medical Center in Clarksville, IN. He was born on July 20, 1971 in Jeffersonville, IN to Leon and Cindy Schafer Crace. Chad worked for 24 years in logistics with Ford Motor Co. He was a proud member of the NRA, a member of Northside Christian Church, and an avid University of Kentucky fan. Chad was also known for his many years of coaching baseball at Charlestown Little League, he was the founder of CYLP basketball in 2008, and coaching Lady Pirates Basketball at Charlestown Middle & High Schools.
Chad is survived by his wife Angela Marie Smith Crace, his children; Kali Marie Crace, Trey Anthony Crace, and Ty Andrew Crace all of Charlestown; his parents Leon and Cindy Crace of New Albany, IN his brother Brad Crace (Mandy) of Charlestown; nieces and nephews: Hunter Crace, Julia Crace, and Dallas Crace; mother and father-in law Marvin and Joann Smith of Nabb, IN, and his brother-in-law Floyd Smith.
Life Celebration services will be held on Wednesday November 14, 2018 at 11:00am at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 1-8:00 pm and again on Wednesday beginning at 9:00 am
