After looking at the “plant seniority” list again on the homepage, it looks like they may first be sorted by hire date and THEN sorted by department code. After that it would be hard to determine the lists order without knowing specific SSNs.
For example, my hire date starts with department code number 1. I’m listed at the top seniority (for my hire date) in my department. I have a hard time believing I’d be at the top with a high last 4 of SSN, but I guess it’s possible.
Maybe I’m just an idiot who can read, or both could be true.

You are correct that I didn’t understand his point. He said that the seniority list was incorrect because it was listed by global not ssn. I merely pointed out that it was a seniority list and was in seniority order by hire date. I’m not a mind reader so I did not know that he was referring to the order of the names with the same seniority date. I was also just trying to be a smart ass and lighten the mood.

So as I was saying that list is really not correct. Also why can’t it be put in proper order ?Hell its computerized.I bet I could put it in correct order if I was sitting at a desk all day long.As always I don’t mean to sound smug.I just try to show people the discrepancies that most workers never hear about. It May be important to a person ?And the question still remains.Did we change the SSN from low being top or like LAP high being top?

The ranking of seniority based on ssn hasn't changed. KTP the lower the last four of ssn equals the lower/better seniority spot; LAP is the opposite.
No clue as to why they have the seniority list messed up...
I'm skilled trades and the last list I saw was correct.
