LAP Announcement:
It was announced that LAP will be sending KTP approximately 500 members in the spring of next year. Here is what that means for us at KTP:
We are getting approximately 500 members from LAP. KTP will need those members to return back to the 3 crew pattern in SUV Body and Paint next year to back fill the current KTP members who choose to transfer into SUV Body and Paint.
LAP will be surveyed by seniority to volunteer to come to KTP as spelled out in Vol. 1 Appendix N starting on page 230.
SUV Body,Paint, and Bid Openings:
Our Department to Department Transfer lists will be used to fill all the VAT available work openings in SUV Body and Paint. We were able to get the Company to agree to fill all the VAT openings through the department transfer list with no limit. So sign up asap if you are interested in one of these departments. We cannot tell you what the seniority will be on A or C crews.
As of now, the Company has identified over 300 bid jobs needed for the increased production. Most if not all of the bids will start going up and be filled before anyone transfers in.
