When did KTP lose a shift? We have went from 3 shifts in final to 2 several years ago.Weve also had shifts in body that worked a really weird schedule I’m not sure the hours I was on A crew at that time but now that shift doesn’t exist.Went from 2 to 3 and 3 to 2 several times. Strange no one was laid off but that's a good thing. A lot more people there now with more coming. Hard to see that place just absorb the people if c-crew was to get cut in the future....hopefully that doesn't happen but this the auto industry

I also forgot we ran Excursions from 99-03 3 shifts and never laid a person off after it ended. So that was good. But they offered like 5 different buyouts

If this cycle can last 4-5 more years a lot will retire.

That’s funny But from the way you all talk KTP should be my last Excited to become part of the team. Once again then, how many plants have you worked at and at which ones? You have had many questions answered on here. I've worked at OAP,LAP,and KTP. There I started it out for you.

KTP had a major layoff in the 80's & several hundred went to LAP including my dad, different rules then, kept his company seniority but lost his plant seniority, had to go to nights for years to have a decent job for his time. Finally they opened a window for them to go back & get their seniority a couple years before he retired.

To my best recollection the only time a pay disparity came into play was during the transition from traditional agreement to MOA agreement. MOA presented the team concept and with that the AARPS scale was developed. So when you were able to perform all jobs on a team your pay scale maxed out. It was more than the individual who only wanted to know one job. This.
