5 eight hour days— to answer the original question how does 5 eight hour days work with 3 shifts? Right now the # 2 and #3 shift are working Mday-Friday 6am-2:30pm. And 6pm-2:30am. When they go to 3 crew in July the shifts will be called Crews. Crews then become AWS, Alternative Work Schedules. Shifts are Tradional Schedules. This change of name will make a difference when looking about the contract. The new 3 crew,AWS, will be A crew 6am-4:30pm Mday-Thursday B crew 6pm-4:30am Tuesday-Friday C crew 6am-4:30pm Fri, Saturday 6pm-4:30am Sun Mday |
