Got a news letter asking to please keep the negotiators in everyone's thoughts and prayers as they go and negotiate on our behalf, lol. Are you kidding me? The only thing I'm going to pray for is my butthole. The crooked and deceitful UAW DO NOT have my/your best interest in hand in these negotiations, and you will see come September.

Opioids on table ? Why? I saw a news clip about Todd Dunn and the UAW on opioids in negotiations If anyone cant pass a drug test (there should be random done daily) then FIRE THEM ON SPOT. Why should catering to drug addicts be above or beside raises, and real bargaining gains? People should have to choose Point Blank between their job and doing drugs

All this is is a way for the company to pay off the union in exchange for creating more cushy union jobs. They virtue signal and say they need to create these committees, positions, programs or whatever have you to help these pill poppers and that that is their number one priority in these negotiations. If they truly cared so much for helping people they’d do it without having to form these positions and do it on their own time, and without cameras and reports documenting the whole spectacle. The ONLY reason any of us shows up everyday in this hellhole is to make money. I do what I can to help those less fortunate (legitimately) but I do it on my own time and with my own resources. For those that don’t already know, this how how governments and unions work. Put up a facade of helping people but really they’re only helping themselves...

Here’s what’s gonna happen .All the people that’s not making top pay will get raises.Dont see them getting to 30.51 but could be wrong.The legacies are getting nothing.The retirees are getting nothing.Guy on BC Told a buddy of mine they were gonna try to “take care “of the wage gap .WE SHOULD OF NEVER HAD A PAY GAP.We will get a big signing bonus and that’s it.The kids will see 8500 and say damn.But you WONT get bonus if you’re not a UAW member.

The new opioid treatment is very much needed but it should not* be our #1 concern. Why not improve working conditions & implement a better system to ensure people get injured less often? By upping employee morale and lowering injuries so goes the need to self medicate. From what i'm hearing from surrounding co-workers it doesnt matter whats on the table here at KTP though.. with all the lower seniority workers here a sign on bonus is all it'll take get passed. Metal man is correct on this one.
