Anyone that chooses to opt out of the union in this plant is a fool and I suggest you go ahead and leave now. To say this union is worthless whether its international or the local you are speaking of is oblivious to other work conditions going on everywhere around else. I get so tired of hearing Come on Right to work, why dont you ask the transplants at our plant how that right to work worked out for them. Do the rest of us pro unions a favor and leave and take your b.s. with you. Theres so much every person in this plant benefits from being in a union we take for granted. And by the way for people who say -my local rep is useless Im canceling my union dues- YOUR DUES PAY INTERNATIONAL, not your local cmmtmn!!!! Ford Motor Co pays your area rep. Geez had to vent, getting annoying in here. Happy Friday

Imagine living in a country where you weren’t free to join an organization or not. Union has spent countless millions fighting Right to Work when really they should welcome it. Now they can quit fighting that and maybe turn their attention .....and millions....to those due paying members and helping those that choose to belong. Competition usually increases quality in products produced, maybe it will do the same for the union. Stay safe people

Competition makes organizations, companies, people and products stronger/better. Imagine what a piece of shit truck we would be building right now if GM and Ram weren’t breathing down our necks. That’s why socialism doesn’t work. If people don’t have to go to work, or aren’t motivated enough to go to work they won’t. Same deal with our union, they have no competition and they have become complaisant. If you opt out of the union you will not receive the contract sign on bonuses. Those bonuses are just enough to cover your union dues. In other words: the company is paying your union dues to stay in the union... what’s that tell ya? I’m not against a union in theory, and I plan on staying in as a dues paying member. But the UAW needs a fire lit under their ass and RTW hopefully will be one of the catalyst to do so...

VATs work Sunday for straight time.Seems like they’re lagging behind.Cant believe they don’t sub it out. Straight time with a shift premium of 25% and 10.7 maximum line time. 4 crew is straight time 12.0 schedule, there may be time 1/2 after 10 hours but not certain. Day shift rotates weekends every other weekend also, so seniority doesn’t count for anything except days or nights, either way your going to work 2 weekends a month.

C crew really doesn’t get 25%(you get like 15% on Sunday). And on C crew you work 4 weekends a month.Im sure there is some OT pay in there somewhere.Either after 40 or 1/2 after 10?But either way they’re both shitty shifts.I worked C crew for 3 summers and it’s a real Downer .The rotation thing seems like a real bullshit deal.Seniority should prevail in a UNION shop. Thus the title of this 🧵

This is what burns my ass with this union..not that they squander money on a house on a lake with scab labor...or being in a part of the plant where our fat lazy and totally worthless union\company spokesman never shows up for weeks at time....It's knowing they share a bed with Democraps and socialist scumbags...smh

I would like to clarify one statement that I made....Not all union stewards are lumped up in my comment. I have had union stewards who I would go shoulder to shoulder into the bowels of hell. Like all jobs that go for the public..they can be without recognition or even a single thank you. To those that have not given up the fight...or the beat down from management (or our own membership)... I salute and commend you! For the others that just want off the line and do nothing...I will not hesitate to call you out in front of others with the utmost ridicule and disdain...so others may know of your worthless actions.

You can always quit and go somewhere else and work. Just an idea. Imagine coming in on Sunday and having to actually work like the production workers do on C crew.
