I'm pretty sure you have to go through a website now, not sure of the link. But also try LAP, from their quality standpoint, it seems they take walk-ins.

Run the other way lol Really hope this contract they change the FMLA like how a lot of the other big companies have. Make people use their vacation & personal time hours first before time off without pay. UPS did this a few years back and cleaned up a whole bunch of it.

I agree, FMLA and medicals needs to be cleaned up. This could affect future work for the plant and harm us all. I don’t know how they can clean up FMLA since it’s a federal thing.

They can clean it up because federal law allows companies to make their employees use all of their person time and vacation time before they are allowed to use FMLA. That would stop the abuse as many people would not want to use their vacation and personal time first and also because many of the abusers use fmla to cover their awols which can not be covered by vacation time.

So once again the ones who don’t abuse the system get screwed by the ones that do..... sounds like some of you may have been fortunate enough to have healthy loved ones... try having to take them to cancer treatments because there’s no one else to take them it’s hard even with fmla.... the bills keep coming in but you have no choice to be there for them

FMLA is like any other program designed to help people.
Its a good thing. People need it.
Its abused by a significant minority, which gives it a bad rap.
I used it when my Dad was in his final battle with cancer, thank God for it.
But I can also do out in my area and point out 3 or 4 people that abuse the F*** out of it.

All good jobs are first come first serve. Union throw seniority out the window Total bullshit this was even allowed to happen Jobs should be bid out not department transfers or team transfers

If it wasn't for the insurance for my family id be out. Also every job that comes open IS a top seniority pick first situation. Go back to lap
