Sub Pay for Second Week of 2019 Summer Shutdown
Yesterday, the Plant finally received the report from the Kentucky Unemployment Insurance Division listing the Members who were eligible for and requested unemployment benefits and received a Waiting Week Credit for the state benefit week ending on 07/13/2019. Waiting week Sub Pay cannot be processed until this report is sent from the state. The Company immediately forwarded this information to the Benefit Payments Department in Dearborn, Michigan for processing. Members who are eligible for SUB Pay benefits should receive their benefit payment within the next two to three weeks. SUB Pay benefits are direct deposited and members will receive an online pay stub for their benefit payment. Also, please remember that during a week in which you receive two payments from the Company that typically only one combined deposit is sent to your banking institution, so please check your online pay stubs to verify that you have received your SUB Pay benefit payment. If you are eligible for and requested unemployment benefits, and for some reason your name was not included in the Waiting Week Report that was provided to the Plant by the State (which would mean there was some kind of problem with your unemployment benefit request) you will not receive your SUB Pay benefit payment until you resolve the issue with the Kentucky Unemployment Insurance Division and then provide verification to the Plant Labor Relations Department that you have received a Waiting Week Credit for the correct benefit week. If you would like to verify your Waiting Week status please contact the Kentucky Unemployment Insurance Division at (502) 564-2900, or check your Waiting Week status online at the web address listed below. After logging into your account click on “Account Summary” to confirm you have been credited with a Waiting Week Credit for the correct benefit week.
