Does that buyout remain available for the life of the agreement. If so when I hit 85 points in April, I’m outta here. Anybody know for sure. I can’t make it to the Q & A.

Just went to contract mtg. Buyout terms(ie length of availability) aren’t finalized yet. They stated they wouldn’t be finished until after contract is ratified but would likely be similar to length of time the 2015 buyouts were offered, but couldn’t say specifically. It’s something UAW & Ford would negotiate immediately after. I believe the early retirement buyout was 120 days after ratification in t he 2015 contract but don’t quote me on that.

No then .Seems to me (not a genius)Ford would allow 60,000 for four year term.Lets day I can retire in 3 yrs but I wait til next contract for lump sum payment NOW they have to pay me ratification bonus PLUS lump sum payment.Unless there’s no lump sum because 93s will retire in masses?

Asked if the 60,000 was for the duration of contract? Was told more info on that AFTER ratification vote?😂😂😂 Sounds a LOT like that Nancy Pelosi quote about the ACA healthcare bill/law that was coming up for vote a few years ago.... “We have to pass the bill so that we can know what’s in it.”
