Most of the Lorainians I have met are retired.And the rest are retiring this year..Always thought it was funny when they would say”our local is way stronger than 862”.Id say funny you lost your job and had to come here?Plus has ANY PERSON from Ohio EVER won a 862 union position?Seems like they’d want to get 862 tough like their Ohio local?🤷🏿♂️ After being here a almost a year this local definitely let's the company do whatever they want....sad no one stands up to management here |

That was for the last quarter of 2019. First quarter isn’t over until the end of March He is still pretty much a "Newbie" to the world of Ford. Maybe with a few more years under his belt he wont be so quick to post doomsday predictions. Projection with 1 month in already. When the numbers come in im sure it will be down. Obviously the quarter isnt over until end of march doiiii. |

Yeah , you never really answered either question. First boxes to be built beginning by end of April. If you knew what the National Contract says then the second question you asked leaves little to be discussed. Unless job openings are available at a particular plant nobody can just "Go Back" or transfer to said plant. “ Go Back”, two of the most beautiful words in the language !! |

How far out can we request family days? I know personal days are 30. I think our rep is clueless so it would be nice to have a real answer. And you guys need to retire already sheesh im tired of nights 😀

I know a bunch of 24-26 year people who want to go but they are gonna have to PAY me to leave. $ 100,000 and full pension gets me out the door. Then Ford can hire a $15 millennial and see if he comes to work every night for 25 years. |

Talk to John Jaggers who was on the bargaining team for the national contract. Ford did not want to give the SRI at all. They only caved because GM offered an SRI in their contract. It wouldn't surprise me if this is the last time it is offered. |

I sure hope not BUT a buyout won’t stop me from retiring.Ive got 2-4 more years if I treat my PS,Raises and lump sums as gifts it will be enough.I must admit though if I ran this place 60,000$ is nothing. I would want to get rid of an OLDER,less productive person making 32$ an hour and replace them with a KID making 14$ an hour.Theyll offer them in 23 I predict.

Metalman, You missed the fact
that the the older generation is much more productive than young and stouter generation. Sad to say, but for the most part a true statement.
