If you google “Fords total profit for 2019”There’s and article from CFO Tim Stone stating He EXPECTS Fords profit to be down to 6.5 to 7 billion .Earlier projection were 7 to 7.5 billion.So I’m hoping for 6500.

I’ve been here almost 27 years and I remember one year that the company lost money and had no profit, but we got a $50 profit share check.

Yep .Its a roller coaster ride .Many great years but also many down years.Never been laid off though.Hearing OHAP plant is building a Boxline so they can run more than chassis cabs?My guess is KTP just can’t fill all the orders.Theyll use attendance as the reason they sent the trucks there,when in reality it’s just impossible to build that many trucks here.

Most of the Lorainians I have met are retired.And the rest are retiring this year..Always thought it was funny when they would say”our local is way stronger than 862”.Id say funny you lost your job and had to come here?Plus has ANY PERSON from Ohio EVER won a 862 union position?Seems like they’d want to get 862 tough like their Ohio local?🤷🏿♂️

Yeah , you never really answered either question. First boxes to be built beginning by end of April. If you knew what the National Contract says then the second question you asked leaves little to be discussed. Unless job openings are available at a particular plant nobody can just "Go Back" or transfer to said plant. |
