What I read about the stimulus package is another $600 unemployment on top of what you will already get. I guess it depends on when the stimulus package kicks in. The house still needs to vote. Shit I'll take a voluntary layoff if that's the case lol

Hey Ford 1993. I saw the same thing. I was wondering how the company was going to treat our Sub pay ? Hell we would make more $$ staying at home layed off than we would if we worked with this additional money on top of our unemployment!! Will see. Sign me up.

Subpay comes to what 80 or 85%. Additional $600 comes out to almost 100%....looks like a big savings for Ford not paying subpay if its extended past 2 weeks

Gentlemen,
This would be my first time utilizing subpay. I’m just recently topped out as of Nov 2019, and haven’t ever been in a position to get subpay till now.
How does it work exactly? What is required on our part ? I’ve heard it usually takes like 2/3weeks after you file for it/turn in paperwork from unemployment.
But like y’all say, it might not even be needed if the unemployment numbers from the stimulus add up as presented in the current form of the bill.

Has anyone heard from the union commented on our Sub pay? Will we continue to get Sub pay along with our unemployment and a $600 check weekly from the government according to the virus stimulus plan?? Just wondering.

Probably not because that will put us over the 80 or 85% of our pay that Ford is under contract to keep our pay at

Sub-pay AND an extra 600 from the government on top of regular unemployment.....ROFL.... No way we get both..... Either the government will tell Ford we're not giving it to your workers because you are contractually obligated to get sub-pay.... Or Ford will make a deal with the government not to give the sub pay.... That would be much more than what we make on a 40 hour week.....

Has nothing to do with unemployment, every one receives it, working or not. It has zero to do with sub pay, it’s based on previous years W2 earnings. Some people won’t even get the full amount because they made too much.

We're not talking about the $1200 per person.... We're talking about the extra unemployment per week everyone is supposed to get
