It’ll change I’m sure, but I’d assume since A crew is “supposedly” starting April 14th. That will likely mean B crew would get the next week? All while A crew goes back on TLO? And keep rotating? Any info/bs on this?

I’m wondering how holiday pay will affect unemployment.
It would be nice to get something like a lump sum payout of holiday pay once we’re back on the drot instead of altering the unemployment. Either way though, I won’t complain too much about free/easy money.

I hope they let us bank those 2 holidays Imagine the official RTW date will be that Monday, pay us that holiday and start up Tuesday. Probably lose the Good Friday holiday but idk, can’t remember this issue in the past.

We lose the Good Friday holiday since we will be laid off 2 weeks prior to the date...and as far as good Monday, A crew will have it just like a regular holiday and the other shifts will lose the day

Our industry is going to completely change after this. It will take months or maybe years for things to be like they were. Shifts are going to get cut all through the auto industry

Maybe early retirement or buyouts?

It ain't looking good for the future folks....don't think anyone is going to be interested in buying a car for a while, thousands of people out of work...some indefinitely....

Maybe early retirement or buyouts? I don't think so people are just gonna get laid off. People on Facebook think it will just all of the sudden get better & we'll be working a bunch of super Saturdays & Sundays. Bitching about petty stuff like the shutdown announcement being delayed. These people are getting ready to experience a big downturn in the auto industry & probably will be out of job. No one is buying shit & this isn't all of sudden gonna go away & poof everything back to normal. Like I've said before this virus is going to do more damage to everything else

You got that right Ford1993. The GDP for the 2nd quarter of this year might set a record for being the worst, terrible. Maybe minus -15 or -10. That’s not car buying numbers. That’s stay at home and hunker down numbers. GDP is supposed to pick up in the 3rd quarter. But that’s August , September when things just start to get back to normal. They will be NO super Saturday’s. Ha ha. Save your $$ kids. There’s a high reason there giving you $600 a week extra in your unemployment pay!!! Get it started.

I think you could reasonably be looking at 1 shift at the truck plant. I sure hope not but I don’t see these 80,000$ trucks and SUV’s selling at this time.

Agree.... I wouldn't be surprised if all of our plants are down to one shift at best..... Just praying they don't end up closing LAP.... We basically only have one product as it is.... And when you couple what's happening now with low gas prices..... That's bad news for our product

Kentucky governor is telling people not to go to Tennessee because its business as usual with restaurants & everything so maybe it's not all doom & gloom yet. But definitely the more that shutdown the worse it will get
