My question is this.If a plant closes and we go to 2 shifts then a miracle happens and we add C crew won’t the senior members from other plant get to come to KTP?

2 shifts lost is a very good possibility.

Bro. It’s supply and demand. Don’t expect demand to hit again until the middle or end of the 3 quarter of his year. That’s August / September time. There are a lot of jobs that are not coming back for now or ever. Many businesses will close as demand doesn’t bounce back for their service ** I don’t see a C crew needed anywhere at any plant that Ford is the owner. Not trying to be a downer. U want to see the order bank go down to hardly anything? Well, here’s your chance. Grab your ass boy’s and girls, it’s going to get interesting. Just saying. ((Hoping I’m wrong.))

Legacy can bump in-progression in-zone in a reduction of force. LAP is not going to shutdown right now. Lose a shift maybe but the escape is not being built anywhere else. But the answer to your question is yes if they don't transfer somewhere else & just hang out & wait for an opening.....I could be wrong tho

If we have legacy laid off nobody can transfer in yes? Considered in-zone it'll go by seniority if lap & ktp have legacy on layoff.

I do remember reading legacy can bump out in-progression. I don't think any legacy will be laid off at LAP unless they close the plant & that's not happening right now. A lot of in-progression employees between both plants

Heard from a teammate with a solid source(gave the exact dates of the 1st day off from a few weeks ago a week in advance) saying we’re not going back till May at the earliest. Congress bill adds $600 to our unemployment through June, so financially it isn’t terrible. Definitely glad I kept my profit sharing though....was gonna pay off my divorce debt credit card in one online click, but just gonna hold onto that cash for a few months until seeing the near-term fallout.

Lots of speculation in this thread. We don’t know what sales are actually going to be like. I talked to a dealer the last 2 fridays and both times he told me sales had been busy each week. People are liking the rebates and low interest rates. Not every state has closed dealerships

It's not rocket science look what is happing here & around the world. Businesses closed, people out of work,...etc

Trump said shut it all down till April 30th now. I expect another 2 weeks off, just my opinion. We will rotate down weeks until the end of the year before they cut a crew, again just my opinion.

KTP and LAP are the same zone. One of these 2 plants would have to close in order to be able and bump someone from the opposite plant. So if KTP were to lose 2 shifts, the senior people couldn't bump anybody from LAP and vice versa. Not gonna happen at either plant though. Y'all need to stop stressing these newbies out so much. I didn't like it done to me when I was still wet behind the ears.

They are more worried about the petty shit and besides they all think its gonna be balls to wall when we go back. For their sake I hope they are right
