I filled out the unemployment online on Sunday and when it was almost through the website threw me off. I can't for the life of me get ahold of these people after 100's of phone calls the line always says try again later. I'm guessing my filing didn't go through. So am I fucked

It’s been total failure for me since Sunday morning. Can’t log on, tried every option online and spent hours trying by phone, the one time I did get through the person couldn’t help me, they promised to call back. Sent several emails, even emailed Andy. Still waiting.

I logged into my bank account because I was gonna call to see if they seen a pending payment and I guess it did go through because it was in my bank account already. This has been a huge shit show so far. Need to hire some more people from home to get these peoples questions answered. |

Most people are having problems because they don’t read instructions. Bet money half the people who have problems tried to OPEN A CLAIM instead of requesting benefits. Exactly the opposite of what you were supposed to do. It’s exactly like it was in 2008. It takes two minutes on the computer. Geez. Maybe some of you should have your mom do it for you. Apparently she’s been doing everything else for you your entire life.

The UI page says at the top that the first week will be paid automatically. I still requested payment on Sunday evening and it was deposited late last night, but hopefully everyone will get this week whether they got through or not.

After three days of phone time I finally got a call back from the person that could help me. I had last logged in in 2001, and damned if I still knew that PIN! 😀
Answered the security questions correctly and they got me reset, and I’m good.
They did improve the call in Help system on Tuesday night, just leave a number and wait by the phone.

According to a new release from the UAW. Our State unemployment plus the $600 weekly unemployment additional compensation from the Federal Gov. pushes us over the limit acceptable to receive our normal SUB PAY. So we will not be getting SUB PAY this unemployment period. FYI. Now Waiting for your $600 from the feds!! Stay safe.

It would have been nice to get both but I figured that wouldn't happen. At least we won't have to wait on subpay. Hopefully we'll see this extra $600 next week

Doesn’t matter if I get it tomorrow or in September, either way it’s $600. Contractually they pay us the sub to get us to 85%. The 1152 is damn near 100% for doing absolutely nothing. And yes they will send you $1800 if you are off 3 weeks. May take a week or even a month but it’s not like sub pay comes next day air. |

I think it’s great either way.Not all people have your opinion though.How did you gather this info?Ive looked and don’t see anything about back pay in the 600$Sub pay is an agreement.A contract.Just saying .Found it.We will get paid regardless starting 4/5/20.But it will not start til late April.

I use autotruck and I got my direct deposit Wednesday afternoon and requested the check on Sunday. Good luck, hopefully it's just something with your bank. |

1. Anyone on layoff is NOT on the ACTIVE rolls. No Holiday Pay.
2. One must work the day before and the day after to receive Holiday Pay. So if you are on layoff, NO Holiday Pay.
