Has anybody got theirs yet? Paperwork said we’d get out bonus checks 4-6 weeks after we retire. I left March 1st so my six weeks is up but still no check. About three days ago a poster on Blue Oval Forums said his credit union showed the deposit as pending.

Thanks! Been so busy can’t figure out how I had time to work. Was on nights except for a short time that we only had one shift at lap so trying to get switched over to day schedule. Left March 1st so lucked out on the covid 19 fiasco. Retiree prescription plan sucks, plus had to sign up for medicare part b so they deduct $144 month from ss check plus $17 month from retirement check for health insurance. So $150 month for insurance is roughly three years of my retirement credits go for that plus higher copays on drugs. Glad I stayed a few extra years to cover that.

I’m hoping they offer another buyout /early retirement very soon.With the current status of the world and market place I really think they will.I almost took the last one but I’ll only get 1500 a month til 62 then it drops to 900 or so.Cant really afford that one.

Somewhere along the way I read (probably on BOF) that each plants HR had to send in the info/list of folks who signed up for buyout packages. If that is true I can understand why LAP folks haven’t gotten our bonus. When I was active I had company email and every time Labor put out an email they would recall it and send a corrected one. Guess they don’t have to pass the idiot test either.

My first day of retirement was May 1st. My Retirement Incentive Bonus was direct deposited to my bank account on Friday, May 22nd. So only a 3-week wait. I am still waiting for my first pension payment (that was due on May 1st). NESC is as slow as molasses.  |
