Hearing the wearing of face masks will be required in any Ford facility as long as virus is still a threat.
Ford supplies mask for employees. Anyone else entering the facility must bring their own mask.

Good. Clowns should have done that 6 weeks ago. We would still be working. It’s not rocket science but it took them losing 6 weeks of production to figure out what do it meanwhile every medical person on the planet has been screaming it for two months.

And now is when the union should be drawing a line in the sand about some type of cooling systems in these plants. No they can’t have it done this summer and before going back to work, but this whole situation is an example of why it’s needed. They really think people are going to work in these plants wearing masks and no fans in middle of summer? It’s time these plants quit being complete shit holes as work environments.

Ford is already tallying up the equipment needs for its workplaces, Jim Farley, the automaker’s chief operating officer, said in a podcast interview with Automotive News last week.
“We’re identifying all the PPE requirements, which is millions and millions and millions of equipment we’re going to need to bring people back,” Farley said. “We’re not going to bring anyone back or even think about it before we have the sufficient supplies.”

Well I hope they offer TLOs or early ret. Again ,because I’m Def not gonna work with a heart condition in that oven wearing a full face shield and god knows what else with no fans or air flow

Couldn’t imagine body shop and stamping in the summer wearing a face mask along with all the other required PE. They will have to figure it out, I will work until it becomes unsafe. |
