Dam. Saw this one coming. Losing 65% of your order bank in a month. Who knows how bad LAP did yet. Probably the same. It’s tough times kids!! It will build back up. But not over night. Like I said a month ago. Save your coins. Stay safe.

My question is since there only going to run 2 crews......will it be rotating .......and if you did stay on tlo how long will they pay the insurance? Yes it will be rotating for now, but with that order bank C crew is on the clock, I’d guess maybe 6 months they will wait to see how the economy bounces, if it doesn’t I’d say it’s gone by the first of the year. No change to your insurance, nothing changes on TLO, accrue your time/credits like you worked 40 hours. ILO is a way different story, that’s when your sub balance begins to be hit.

I've gone out a few times just driving around & Lowes, Home Depot, Walmart....etc the stores that open are slammed. Lines outside parking lot full. I was surprised by this. I think our economy will pick back up quick. Quicker than I was thinking before anyways

There is still a chance that, most of our UAW brother and sister have the coronavirus. Especially, when you haven't been tested for it yet. If the return to work date is May 4, stay safe out there.

So many small businesses will suffer and close. Its hard to say since we have never lived through this before.Theyre saying another round in the fall?If this happens every six months or so don’t see how we will be able to keep working ?I don’t see us needing 3 crews to fulfill the orders.Sales have to drop off Bad.Trickle effect all they way back to us.Hope I’m wrong but I see very tough times for SOME folks ahead.

I agree..... I really don't even understand why they would bring us back when the car lots are still closed..... They have so much inventory now.... Where are they going to put anything that we build?

FYI. Our VP of U.S. Sales and marketing said Ford had a 100 day supply of Vehicles to sell already. So they believe they can ride this shutdown out awhile. But that doesn’t bold well for us.. I’m sure the order banks for all our Vehicles are pretty low now. Save your $$$. Someone else’s lost job could be a lost sell for us. Go figure.

Well looks like President Trump is going to leave it up to each state’s gov. to open when they see fit.Good move on his part.Kentucky has done an excellent job of staying home (less testing though)so I’d say we will open ASAP.Just wonder if the folks in Indiana will be able to travel to Kentucky to work? They could be carriers.Lmao

States will open back up. Then in 3-4 weeks cases will balloon again. Then states will close back down.
Until an effective vaccine is developed, herd immunity grows, a we do MASSIVE testing and tracking, this will go on for months and months.
Where the FUCK are the tests?

Dang agslater. We all might be doing that. The oil futures for May are now below $10 a barrel. That’s almost a historic record for cheap Oil. In other words. Our economic engine and industry today is run on OIL All countries included. When the future guys on Wall Street says Oil has very little value today, that means the demand is really Low and the supply side has to much Oil available on the open market ie; ( No one is using it to make things!!!!), Oil companies have slowed down the supply side. But no help yet. So May is not looking good as a recovery month as of yet. This could change rapidly, but pessimism doesn’t think so. ** What about June now for recovery??? This could get ugly. An economy with less jobs does not bold well for a company that makes New expensive vehicles. Just saying.

Cheap gas bodes well for our plant though..... a little brightness😏 Not with 25% unemployment. You’re right......... it’s gonna be lean times for the rest of the year, I’d say at least until there’s a vaccine or cheap and prolific 5min tests available nationwide. .... on the SUV side, our China units will be surely be taking a nosedive for the rest of the year.

Now, I'm stepping it up even more. It's definitely tough on certain items. I'll buy made in Mexico before China, if its between the two(noUSA available).
