Like I said last Thursday. The Governor of Michigan has a stay at home order till May 28. Our CEO said ALL plants go back on the same date!!! So we will see. The Michigan dominant majority Republican legislature is fighting her declaration now?

The Michigan dominant majority Republican legislature is fighting her declaration now? Read the other threads. Michigan’s stay at home order was extended to May 15, not the 28th. The governor extended the State of Emergency which allows her to get more federal funding. This article is a good breakdown of what is happening between the Governor, the republican legislators, and Ford/UAW. www.nytimes.com/reuters/2020/04/30/business/30reuters-health-coronavirus-usa-automakers.html

New York is starting manufacturing on May 15. No reason Michigan can’t.

A process coach at KTP told me yesterday that he has been told to return on May 11. He is someone who is necessary to be there to prepare for a resumption of production. So I'm guessing KTP is looking at restarting the following week on May 18.
