Most badges won't open that Stamping gate. Needs to be programmed specially by security.

I live nearby and rode past the plant yesterday. There are tents installed at every gate on Chamberlain lane. Next time I drive through there I will cut through Collins lane and look to see if they have one there. Stay safe people |

A 480 feed to gate 12 for an AC unit that has to be set up at each tent is the biggest issue there.

A/C ?WTF .The plant doesn’t have A/C.They need more than a Tent with no side walls to give you a temp check?Come to think of it there’s a good size trailer if not 2 trailers with air by the turnstiles.Power is there

The letter they sent out for new hires is to fill in when C crew people start dropping. They have a plan |

Temp inside tents have to be maintained between 68-75 degrees at all times. Power for turnstyles are 110 volts ac. Those Units also have heater elements also. Thermostatically controlled from inside tent.

I am skilled trades. I spoke to you years ago on the right hand bodyside when you were working the DOP. I told you about the water fountain that wasn't going to be fixed right away and you put it on this forum almost instantly( N0t that really matters). Just letting you know where I stand. The tents are part of what the IUAW and Ford(I think) agreed upon to screen employees before entering the plant. As for as rain I dont believe they have thought that potential out. Myself and the other electricians there discussed that very subject. More than 2 gates have the screening ability. Controlled temperature for accuracy during the temperature taking process. Can you imagine standing in a tent with the temperature possibly being 90 plus degrees? Results could very easily be skewed to the high side. It only takes about 3 seconds for your temp to be taken and you are on your way. I've been through it.
