The CARES ACT was suppose to cover families of those affected by Covid 19. Why is there no guidance from Ford on those individuals who are high risk with Autoimmune diseases or Lung disease on how to stay away from the plant and shelter in place. This is almost certainly a death sentence for those already with bad lungs or low immune systems. All I’ve seen was a memo about medical leave that didn’t mention CARES Act only disability.

For sure.I think a person just calls their doctor and goes on medical.I have a heart condition and I’m going in and see how I feel in the heat wearing a mask.If I don’t feel good I’m done till this shit passes.You would think that FORD would be advocating for older ,bad health ,worn out UAW paying members.But I guess they want us to die so we don’t get retirement

I don’t see how you can make it through the summer. I have fought to stay at the job and now this. A mask and possible a face shield in 100 degree weather. I just called medical and they were told to refer to Labor. Unpaid leave , vacation/personal time
