I said earlier that the structure held 12 peole but it is more like 15 The first couple days the person checking your temperature was handing out the mask. But now there is dispenser hanging on the wall on your right as you walk by it, as you are making your final turn in the structure. So not sure if they will hand them out first day or you get them yourself. You grab the mask from under the dispenser like you would folded up paper towels in a dispenser in a rest room.
If you are carrying something in , it would help you if it had a shoulder strap or you can put it in a bag with a shoulder strap to free up your hands to put on the mask. Otherwise you may have to set your items on the ground as you exit the structure. and you still need to have your gate pass ready.
You can leave for lunch or go out to your car same as always but you have to go back thru the structure to get your temp. checked again.
You are supposed to wear the Ford issued mask, If you refuse your supervisor is to take to up to labor.
All tables I seen (break rooms and pick nick) have a divider set on top of them like you might see at a voting place, Looks like 4 people max to a table. Break rooms have max capacity signs posted.
Truck drivers are to bring in their paperwork and immediately exit the building and wait outside or in their truck while being unloaded.
I hear no lunch and put it on the end was considered but last I heard Allen was against this.
Ford is handing out the bands for the mask so you can use the back of your head instead of your ears.
when your shift starts back there is a 30 minute meeting where you will get a care package with a booklet of info and single point lessons and ??. and will be told the upcoming schedule and answer questions.
I read yesterday on line where Mexico will not start up till June 1st. if this is so, that is where the diesel engines come from so depending on the supply line we may run a lot of gas trucks. just my thought.
On the badges you get on line before you leave for work at first a person was out front of structure checking but now we are showing it to the person checking your temp.
FYI the temperature check involves you removing your hat, glasses and mask you show your badge and stand on the x in front of his table he says your ok and you walk out,. Takes about a second or 2 if you have your badge ready to show him.
I think the plan is to have Team leaders or a volunteer from each team stay over and disinfect your working area. on overtime.
I expect the line to move slow the first day as everyone learns the routine so the line will back up into the parking lot. If you are use to driving in down a isle and turning back up the next isle you may find the line of people in the area especially the closer to the structure you get and at 6 feet between people the line may get pretty long. so be extra careful when you arrive.
Gate 12 is still not available. I think they are waiting on more of the devises that check your temperature.
