SWW if you have over a year seniority I believe.
A and B seem to run fine without too much help.

People with less than 2 years in and are already abusing the system.
It’ll be interesting to see if they go the route of buyouts or cutting lowest seniority.

They get rid of the older guys via buyouts who the hell is going to come to work and build trucks? They need to ax the shift, do a rehire in 18 months and hire like a normal company, not through a temp agency. They hire people that just want to work temporarily and then wonder why they don’t come to work. I don’t blame the employees, it’s a horrible way to hire your manpower.

I agree. But now the contract says work 3 years before you’re full time. In the long run they can save a shit ton by having people work <3 years and quit.

Damn wasn't even there for an hour and a half and said they didn't need us. So I'm suppose to be paid for an hour and a half for a week. Might as well not even report that shit and let me get the unemployment since it wasn't my week to work anyways.
Monday and Tuesday didn't work. Today less than an hour and a half. Do I file unemployment? This shit is ridiculous. Screw c crew

I’ve never seen it in practice but I was always under the assumption that IF: You leave on your own (flip) then no SWW. You are forced to leave, you get 4 hours pay plus SWW. No clue tho. That what I was wondering. I didn't even get 2 hours sitting waiting and wasn't scheduled to work. Monday and Tuesday I didn't work because it wasn't my days to be there. Not trying to only be paid for less than 2 hours or even one day of SWW when I could have just stayed home and got unemployment since it wasn't my work anyways.

So paycheck says 12.6 hours works 19 hours out short work week. So I'm missing almost 8 hours of pay for them calling me in. Does that mean I can file for my missing hours on unemployment?

Got called in Wednesday and they sent me home after not even 2 hours, Thursday I worked 10.8 I think. Got screwed out of unemployment $1152 cause C crew worked didn't come in. Take home is usually $800 with no OT

Should have had SWW Wednesday for your hours shorted unless you were “G” coded. The holiday pay adjustment shouldn’t affect your pay.

Many on A crew are losing money on UI even with the extra 600. All on C crew are losing 100-200 in shift premium. Yet again the little man is a piece of shit for trying to gain something while the big boss man is gaming you and the system every chance they get. SMDH

Have any A crew people out on UI for the week of the 15th checked their account summary to verify if their claim is still open? Or, will the company need to open a new claim for us to fill for this week? The UAW 862 letter has no information on A crew being off the week of the 15th.

And are you saying it would be better to stay home for basically the same money? Is that lazy? or smart? or any of my business? BTW... Monday thru Thursday C Crew is normally home to take care of their own kids. Just a thought.

C starts back Monday night supposedly because "the government told Ford they can't do a forced vacation shut down while they have ppl laid off" so I asked someone in the plant union office if he thought we'd go back to lay offs after shutdown. He said no way. Ford wants full speed ahead from here on. We were surveyed to help B on Tues Wed or A on Wed Th. Everyone that volunteered was accepted plus new groups of TFTs have started every week this month. I guess it's going to be like the new contract/clean slating AWOLs fiasco for a while.

You can it lazy or smart, either way I don’t care. I understand the C crew issue as well, I don’t understand why C crew just didn’t work their regular days/nights when it was their turn. Seems like it would have probably resulted in a better turnout. Nothing normal in this place. Stay safe people
