With the upcoming Election we all should think long and hard who we vote for. In my 27 years at KTP its always the same ole folks that get elected whether they have served us in a good capacity or just been plain useless. I feel the majority of the committee people try, but fall short of serving us effectively and knowledgeably. Yes, we DEFINITELY need new blood in our Union....but make damn sure that they at least have gone to Union meetings and are taking initiative to know how things are supposed to be run contractually. My fear is that we will have a whopping number run to just get off the line and not have a lick of sense when it comes to representing us. Maybe we should all share who we like and put them on blast and the same for those that are running for the wrong reasons. Let's wait until nominations come out and take it from there.
