This chip/part shortage seems like it's never gonna end. Inflation and cost of living is ridiculous lately. Almost need a second job with these weak paychecks and cost of feeding a family and gas.

They will use this strangle hold on us next contract time and dangle a nice signing bonus to try and pass another weak contract. It’s time we stood up and demanded more from a company that continues to make record profits from what seems to be slave labor from its workforce. |

The contract is basically in confusing words going to say " covid, sorry about your luck. No money, more work, less benefits". Once most the early 90's hirees are out Ford will have a strangle hold on the union. Definitely not looking forward to it. Ford is gonna be happy having 40-50% of plant as temps making under 20/hr. Even now in progression/temps are 3:1 to legacy workers
