Deal is done except for the battery plants. Union wants them under our agreement and of course company does not. Once this is worked out it’s on to a vote

So much for all this "transparency". I'm getting real tired of all the theatrics. If we are holding out for the battery plants, that's pure bs. They should have their own master contract.
Quit dragging things out so you can keep puffing your chest. This isn't middle school.

I think folks (well I am ) are used to our union being “soft” for the last 30yrs and Fain is old school.I agree though let’s get this going, and let’s get more info about what other parts of the contract are agreed or not agreed to.Retirees Raise ,Lump Sum buyout,OT after 8,???They have to know more than 20% raise over 4 yrs and Cola back?

Anyone that uses the term “team lead” shouldn’t be taken serious.
Something is different tho this week. I don’t think it’s KTP striking but we’ve had all three companies make counters to the UAW and then a later FB live today.

As I said in august in the other thread, it’ll end up being the EV plants that lower current workers wages (23-25% raise instead of 40%). Good for UAW long term.

Long term that’s going to be better for current workers. May have not gotten a bigger raise this contract bc of it, but likely won bigger profits, bigger strike funds, moves UAW into EV for the first time. All great long-term with little downside. If EV flops, there’s so little workers in those plants then not a ton lost. They can find a spot for them or compensation, that was just won back by Fain’s “theatrics”, as well. The people demanding KTP go on strike are people that just don’t want to work and/or want a big signing bonus right now. IMO.

I don’t think it’s KTP striking but we’ve had all three companies make counters to the UAW and then a later FB live today. You don't gotta take me serious. That's fine man. I just know what my phone call said. I also know what I drove past and seen. Seems like he didn't close down any plants because he doesn't like pressuring them when they're doing what he wants. Get your time and get our same thing I'm doing. I've been here 19 years and one thing I won't do is act like an ass or lie about what I heard Mr beaner.

Rumors were flying TL or process coach or whatever you want to call them were saying we were striking. Then later got a call saying we were for sure striking. Then next day apparently "no we're not".

(The people demanding KTP go on strike are people that just don’t want to work and/or want a big signing bonus right now. IMO.) KTP cannot just be the sole plant to strike. LAP would have to be included since they are part of 862. Would be a tougher call for Fain to put out 12,000 plus people at once. My opinion of course.

So if you are actually listening to what a Process Coach is saying you should look for other sources for info. 19 years and you don't know the difference between team leader and process coach? Really!

Deal is done except for the battery plants. Union wants them under our agreement and of course company does not. Once this is worked out it’s on to a vote The UAW should be bargining for the best interest of its members , as in current and retired. If they are holding out for additional UAW members that is really hitting a fork in the road and turning the other direction (IMHO) in whats best for the UAW and not the current members and retirees. If the future plant/s gets up and running THEN it would be a good time to organize it if the workers desire. Shutting down the system for hypothetical ( not existing today ) jobs is not smart , IMHO. If he UAW actually told the members whats it going for it would be nice. Lost count of how mnay times frineds or neighbors that know I work at Ford and ask about the 32 hour work week thingy. I tell them I have no idea and its embarassing.
