its an automatic one and the spring on top snapped. if anybody knows how to fix one, give me a holler.

With those it is best to call someone to fix it. The tension on those sprinds is really dangerous. Mine broke last year an I called Afford A Door they fixed it and were very reasonable.

its an automatic one and the spring on top snapped. if anybody knows how to fix one, give me a holler. Also... when I had mine fixed I looked to fix it myself but could not find one of the springs anywhere (lowes, homedepot). Thats when I called the man.

thanks fellas. i heard from a few people that said not to mess with it myself. i'm a very handy person with things like that, but i took their advice. sprigler door service installed my door about 8 years ago, so i called them. they got me hooked up, and at a pretty fair price.
anyway, thanks for the replys.
