You know as well as I do that all they are going to offer is the same bullshit buyout packages they offered the last time. Now we both know they want those $14.00 an hour people in here, so why don't they just up the damn thing and be serious about it and maybe just fucking maybe they will get some damn takers. Me personally I doubt I will take it no matter what they offer, jobs are hard to find these days.

Same offers as last round...info being passed around plant. They are hoping you are so pissed off bout their raises/benefits returning that u will take the buyout. How is that for a timely announcement? LMAO

To those seriously considering taking the buyout, do yourself a favor and ask those who took earlier buyouts how it worked out for them. Those that I have talked to went through the $60 plus thousand (after taxes) very fast and are working for $10-$18/hour with little or no benefits. Some are not working at all. Many told me that they regretted leaving and if they had to do it all over again, they wouldn't. One guy I know inquired to see if he could pay the money back and return to ford. I think we all know the answer to that. A couple of people that took buyouts told me that they had no regrets but to me their eyes told a different story. Look at the big picture, make your life altering decision and don't look back.

If I could only get the wife to be a "team" player and get a second job I would take the buyout tomorrow. LOL

One of my buddies at another Ford Plant heard that Chicago Assembly and Dearborn Assembly were needing people soon. Anyone heard of this?

"Carl is correct" I don't hear that very often (especially on this board).
