anybody ever figure out when our subpay runs out, and on what date we go into TAP and have to get a job?

On your last sub check look at the bottom of check and it will tell you your balance on your sub checks. Also alot of people are having trouble with unemployment ,You must open a new claim on or after your bye date even though you may have a balance on previous claim. Unemployment gives you no notice of this. Most peoples bye date was 12/5/09

I have 2 more sub checks which i should have monday, i reapplied for Unemployment, received a letter saying i was eligible, but it was $80 less per week than before.

So, is TAP automatic? i couldn't find any info that said i had to file anything.

As long as your not working tap will work the same way as sub. File for your unemployment check and tap will be automatic just like sub.

How convenient for Jan to be off work for two weeks and those of us who faxed our pay stubs now have to wait an extra two weeks for our TAP to go through. Really great thinking on Fords part. And Im sure Jan will jump on our TAP ASAP, lol!

Because its faster/cheaper then driving out to LAP to give her the stubs. In which the job I work now, I dont have time to make it out there before 4:30pm.

our ID's dont work at the gate, couldn't get inside anyway. this whole damn scenario is a joke. when i moved, i had to go in there 3 different times just to get them to change my address in their system. now, they think they are gonna be able to handle this without effing up my money...how did the union agree to this crap?

Talked to someone in HR today and they said that our TAP would be slightly delayed due to the holidays. Hmm, two weeks is slightly delayed, how nice is that.

Yes, if you have a job you have to give Jan your stubs in order to get the higher amount of the TAP pay. If you are on UI you will only get the minimum.

how do i calculate t.a.p. I know it's 50% of your gross which is $569.60 in my case. my question is??..does it deduct [cut it out completly] from your unemployment or is it the same as sub was? thankx

Jim Fisher posted some good examples a few months ago. I know if you are on UI and draw TAP, your TAP will be lower. Even if you have a $9 an hour job, your TAP will be higher than with UI.

Lol! They decided to play like sissies against the week teams ( I mean come on losing to the Browns and Bengals) and beating some of the best teams. Oh well, the Steelers are allready weighted down with gold, the Bungles and the Browns are weighted down with, umm, I will be nice and leave that blank. BTW anyone get their TAP for the past two weeks yet? Im still waiting.
