Since my last post was hijacked (turned into a post about transfers returning and bid rights), I will start another one. Especially since I received my check tonight and once again, my pay was screwed up. Since Dec. 7th, I have had one check which needed no changes...the HOLIDAY check. Kinda hard to screw that one up. If it isn't the pay rate, classification, or refusal to pay back pay...now they short me an hour. If they want to start fucking my pay up every week, they will find out what an asshole I can become. These motherfuckers are ridiculous. Since I took voluntary layoff next week...I can't wait to see how they screw up my unemployment and sub. Does anyone from KTP know any names and numbers to call when UI and sub is screwed up? I figured I would ask now so I can act quickly over the next month since I will be off 2 of the next 3 weeks. People are so concerned about bids being posted, bidding rights returning while we are still at KTP, etc... I am starting to only be concerned with returning to LAP. The manner in which daily business is ran at KTP is incomprehensible. The lack of accountability by everyone, both union and company, is 100% unacceptable. Peace out bitches!

Just found out that all that were late due to the wreck are getting tardied. They have never tardied for that before. Tell me that at the door and i would have went home.... This place is amazing.

There should be no reason you are getting paid wrong. I can't fix pay directly but I for damned sure can make sure they are held accountable. The have to report out in the linetime meeting everyday about pay corrections, so I am suprised I haven't seen it. IN ORDER TO HELP FIX THIS.............. don't let them add it to your current weeks time. MAKE THEM DO A PAY CORRECTION. They don't like to do this because it is tracked and they get in trouble for it. If the supervisor is a constant offender or an ass DON"T LET HEM PROMISE YOU A PAID DAY IN THE FUTURE. Again this is their way of dodgeing discipline. I know it is a hassle to wait for it to get fixed properly, but if you don't these guys won't be held accountable.

I'm about ready to hire an attorney to get back pay they keep refusing to pay me. St. Clair has emails and documents showing when all the requests were made, but nothing was ever done. As for my current check...I simply need a correction or an explanation. St. Clair was on for the BC last night, so I haven't heard any feedback about last night yet. I will have my stub with me tonight. Peace out!

Don't hire one we get one for free The UAW attys. wont take cases against Ford. I used them a few years ago (for a personal case) and they won my case.

LMAO...we were all warned about the differences, but you have no idea how big those differences are until you see them for yourself. With that being said, I went out there to finish out my 30 year sentence. Considering I find myself wishing I could return tomorrow, I still hope to stay at KTP until I can retire. It will get better...I hope. LOL Once I can find that job where they simply leave you alone and pay you correctly every week, I will hit 'chill mode'. The problem seems to be...they have no idea how to not mess with you daily. I spoke to someone tonight after work that is currently in an area offering what I am wanting to experience...I will do what I can to get there so I can exist in a drama free environment. Life is GOOD...Life at KTP is alright.

Life is GOOD...Life at KTP is alright. ScottR even though a lot of you guys and gals from LAP was told how things were done here, I still am glad all of you that came over did come. We could have gotten people from other plants that could be worse, so far in my opinion we have gotten lucky by getting mostly good people from the plants we have gotten so far. I am glad we got the people we got and a lot of the have turned out to be some real good friends. All of the people I have met from LAP has been real good to both work with and get to know on a personal basis. With that said I believe what Kessinger said, ( I can't believe I just said that) that he might not be able to fix it directly but he can make them be held accountable. I have seen this happen a couple of times so at least give this a try.

I don't know how long you've known Brian Kessenger, trinitus? Nor do I want to turn this column into a debate or an election promotion. But, I was lucky enough to have Mr. Kessenger as a committeeman shortly after I moved here from Michigan in 2002. I was (at that time and still am)a union member who calls when there is something wrong. At that time, roughly 2003, my team members always asked ME to call the union when something was wrong (because they were afraid of management, please don't attack me on this I'm no super-hero just telling the truth) and Brian was out there EVERY TIME! So after many years later and no more cape, lol........I have since moved on to a few different departments and have not seen Brian for many years. I'm not surprised to see Brian on here answering questions,along with all his otherwork to help out us BROTHERS and SISTERS as people our age rarely do change and we should be lucky to have Brian Kessenger representing us!

Company policy to make the hourly worker miserable. My personal favorite is the wearing the safety glasses at the picnic table while eating lunch. God forbid that I get some mustard splashed into my eye or my co-worker bites into a pickle and the juice send me to medical for a quick eye flush. I can agree with the rule if the line is running like tag relief. The line is off and we still have to wear them while eating. I like how our union elected and appointed helps set some rules with the company that they don't have to personally have to be bothered with. This is why I believe our elected and appointed officials should have to work the line side by side with us and not hide or lounge around in an air conditioned office all day. Wear those used bloody snot rag gloves with metal shavings that they rinse off with a hose. Just like us. Wear your safety glasses in 100 degree temperatures while eating at the picnic table with us. Have the appointed time study people actually do the job that they tell the line worker "it's a good job". Have the ergonomics people actually do the job that they tell the worker that it's a good job I don't understand why your back, shoulders, and hands hurt. Come on people wake up! I bet if you took a poll at KTP at least half the people working their have no idea that we have time study reps, or ergonomic reps. I noticed when we have launches no union reps elected or appointed follow the units through the departments. I see all company people except the launch team members. Hell, they are happy as hell to be walking around. I just don't get it. The opportunity is their to fix all problems related to the line worker. Cycle time and ergonomic. Ahhhhh, Not my problem I got a good job appointed!!!! If I'm viewing this all wrong correct me so I can get a better feel with what is going on. All I know is what I see and hear on the floor.

My matter was handed over to Kessinger I was told...I will let you know the outcome. As of right now, I am only waiting for a shortage of one hour SWW and back pay to mid-December.

Also try calmly talk to Labor Relations there is a hourly guy in there that will try to get your issues taken care of. They helped me.

As everybody knows you should check your drot everyday to make sure your pay is correct. Just a reminder, I feel your pain. They lost three of my checks last year before I got direct deposit started. Also try calmly talk to Labor Relations there is a hourly guy in there that will try to get your issues taken care of. They helped me. There is an hourly in Labor Relations? Union or Appointed? Why is an hourly working in labor relations? An hourly can disipline hourly workers now? WTF!!! This keeps getting better........
