I fear that the Maintenance Dept. will be losing one or more of our leaders due to the Xmas tragedy. Probably one of the better ones, unfortunately.

That is always the problem. Good managers will not deny or run from something they feel they are being blamed for and the bad mangers are more than happy to heap that blame on anyone that they can. So, the stand up guy is the one that gets fired and the snake lives on.
