....the brakes...............................better than a Toyota...."
The exact line from one of the announcers for the UK game during a play.
I bet all our fellow autoworkers from Lexington/Georgetown LOVED that one..........

I had to rewind the DVR to make sure I heard it correctly.
Wish I could remember who was calling the game.....
It might have been Mark Gottfreid that said it.....

They have received all the bad press we could hope for. Jay Leno has been killing them in his monologue. Even Carrot Top had a good joke on Toyota...he said, "with the purchase of a Toyota, you will get a free mask." He then put on a mask which was a crash test dummy.

Man this is turning into a media frenzy.
The number of stories/articles alone is amazing.
Latenight jokes.
Falling resale value.
MULTIPLE class action suits. From investors, customers, dealers next?
Now local media everywhere are running tear-jerking stories about little old ladies who died "mysteriously" while driving their Toyotas.........
And we haven't even talked about all the OLD wrecks that are going to be re-examined.

Hey when ever you add human hands to anything, whether it is new or not always consider the risk of something going wrong. Toyota is only as good as the people who say it is good.
Kinda like Ford, when Navistar built our Diesels things would go wrong and Ford took the heat for it. Now Toyota is finding out what it is like to outsource their parts as well.

My aunt had a wreck in an 04 Camry, she rear-ended someone, she told us at the time that the car just took off like it had a mind of its own, we thought she was just getting too old to drive. Now we wonder, the 04's are not in the recalls....yet.

There are lawsuits brewing about Toyota's NOT included in the recall.
Heart wrenching story in the media about an family matriarch who died in a 2004.
Have you're aunt research the class action suits and/or call a lawyer.
