With all the past years ups and downs in the economy who knows? The future of LAP has been a topic for several years now, supposidly Gettlefinger saved it a few years back. I hope for everyone involved something would move in the positive direction. What does eveyone think, is the economy getting better? Would you buy a new car? No I wouldnt buy a new car, I just sold my new escape and bought a 2000 mustang. I'm not sure I would ever buy a new one, probably just a 2-3 year old used one.

I'm pretty much done buying new also...the last new model I purchased was 2005. I am thinking about a 350 or 450, but will buy an '07 or '08 in about a year.

well if there is any truth to this rumor, so be it , we have done all we can to prove to ford and detroit that we should be given these new products. If they decide so, it would be time to move on and a start a new chapter in life. But if we get the new vehicles then great , we can continue our lives as normal. It is all mind over matter , I don't mind cause however it ends up it won't matter, life will go on, and i'll be alright

I was told before second shift was layed off (last year) that all of the bids were put in allready. All of the contractors put their bids in back in May of 2009. The source I got the info from was a higher-up salary person that would of known. Remember when they guys were walking around with the hard hats and laser-levelers marking the poles back over one year ago? This just sounds like another rumor that will go nowhere.

They can shout it from sea to shining sea that we are getting a new product but I still have to be leary of the unexpected. Things change that we don't have any control over but I'm still praying that one day LAP will be back with at least two shifts.
