Wish I knew...short nights during March Madness would be beneficial for us all.

we ran 590 off chassis between 2 shifts Friday. heard we will run 720 mon and Tue then be back to full prod rest of wk. 720 should make chassis go about 7.2 or 7.3

There is no way we ran 590 off chassis Friday. We only ran about 150 in trim Friday night, and we were backed up, and Frame and Chassis left before we did.

yeah. bad info. Both chassis went home before lunch today. So we'll see if the Mon-Tue short and rest of wk 8 hrs holds true. i doubt it!

U-trim ran full out and left at 8 hours. The holding area was full. It was the best we have ran in a long, long time.

Anyone know why we keep sitting with the master off for hours? In trim dept that is. I know A crew did it yesterday and even longer today and I hear they sat for a couple hours on B crew last night also.

Anyone know why we keep sitting with the master off for hours? In trim dept that is. I know A crew did it yesterday and even longer today and I hear they sat for a couple hours on B crew last night also. The diesel motor has been the issue, we don't build the cab, box or frame without an engine to go in it. The Stacker has been empty for more than a week, when a gas powered vehicle comes from paint it is immediatly sent to Trim. Building just gas powered vehicles is a small percentage of our normal mix, that is why we are so slow. I was told that Body shop will begin building more jobs this afternoon, it takes a little more than 24 hrs. to get them through the system to trim. I would expect some OT days ahead to catch back up.

Yeah, bunch of different rumors flying around...I'm hearing back to normal Monday. The way we have been working...I feel like I am back at UPS. Don't feel like I've worked a full night in over a month.

And that was only for about 6 months...unload and primary sort...then I was on the blue/blue belt loading less than 1/4 of a can a night.
