I was offered temporary layoff on thursday. Does anyone know if those weeks would take away from my sub credits?

They only take away credits if the TLO is avoiding an ILO, ie rotating weeks.

What? Why is anyone being offered TLO? When did this start and what is the reasoning behind it? I thought things were looking up. I thought business was booming. This makes it sound as if the company is still trying to do away with as many jobs as possible. We seem to be spread pretty thin as it is.

They are trying to eliminate some of the jobs outside which have older seniority people doing them. They are going to allow them to come in and bump some people and are offering up tlo's to all involved.

Steve, Are you saying that if I take this layoff it will not take away my sub credits? I have 47 left. Does that mean that I could be laid off for a year straight and I would get sub the entire time? Thanks for your time Steve.

Was told almost 60 people plant wide are going home on the go home list every day. They don't like this up north so they are going to offer the TLO. They are only going to ask none line workers, i.e. inspectors |

Jan verified my stub on the 22nd no reason why I shouldn't have gotten my check! Anyone know why we didn't get our checks, I hate to bother anyone at the union hall?
